Prohibited Items

LandedSource sources from Chinese marketplaces and ships internationally, so every request has to clear both Chinese export rules and the import rules of the destination country. Some items we cannot source at all, and some we can only ship with extra documents. This page explains both, and what happens if a request is flagged.

Items we cannot source or ship. We decline these outright, including when they are listed normally on the marketplace:

• Counterfeit goods, replicas, or items using a brand name without authorization.
• Firearms, ammunition, magazines, and firearm parts or accessories.
• Knives, batons, and other items we cannot confirm are legal in your state or country.
• Controlled substances, prescription medication, and drug paraphernalia.
• Vapes, e-cigarettes, and nicotine products.
• Hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, compressed gas, and fireworks.
• Human remains, human tissue, and endangered wildlife or plant products.
• Pornographic material and items intended to harm or surveil other people.
• Anything prohibited by the customs authority of the destination country.

Items needing extra review. These are not automatically refused, but they cannot ship on our standard line. We tell you before you pay if your item falls here, and we confirm whether a compliant route exists and what it adds to the landed price:

• Lithium batteries and devices with batteries built in.
• Magnets, aerosols, liquids, and powders that carriers classify as dangerous goods.
• Food, supplements, cosmetics, and skin-contact products.
• Medical devices, laser products, and radio or wireless transmitters.
• Branded consumer goods where the seller must prove authorization.

How we screen a request. Before quoting, we match your photo or description against the marketplace and review the item category, the supplier listing, and the import restrictions of the destination country. A quote is only issued for items that can be legally exported and imported. If we cannot confirm that, we say so instead of quoting.

If an item is flagged after you pay. If a supplier, carrier, or customs authority blocks an item we should not have accepted, we cancel the order and refund the amount you paid for those goods. If the block is a destination restriction you did not disclose, we refund the goods and any recoverable shipping cost.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for describing the item accurately, for confirming it is legal to import where you live, and for holding any license or permit your country requires. Submitting a restricted item under a misleading description may end the order with no refund for costs already incurred on your behalf.

Intellectual property. We decline any request that appears to infringe a trademark, copyright, or design right, or that violates export control rules. We may ask for written authorization from the rights holder before sourcing branded goods.
